The 12 Pubs of Christmas

I had a fabulous weekend, which is partially why I haven't put up a blog post for a while. We went on a massive pub crawl to 12 different pubs in Paddington in Sydney. There were almost 100 of us all together and we went to a number of different pubs, starting off at the Olympic and ending at a pub on Oxford St.

This is a photo of the massive group. There was only one other Australian there, which was fantastic!

I can't say who took the photo but it was a pretty good shot, getting so many people in.

The theme of the event was Christmas, so there was a guy wearing a turkey hat, antlers and all sorts of other original Christmasy things. My housemates Jack, Sam and Raph dressed up in the same outfit - I can't say it was particularly flattering though we certainly would have gotten most original costume.

This is Jack and myself, dressed as Advent Characters with ridiculous hats. I will have you know that I did not choose these outfits, they were Jacks wonderful idea. The advantage was that they made for a wonderful way to count drinks throughout the night.

This is my lovely friend Ainslea looking fabulous.

This is my housemate Sam who took the last three of these wonderful photos.

It was a fantastic day that took a bit to recover from, but I would do it all over again in a second.

An early Merry Christmas to everyone.

  1. Yes... but you have to tell us what was the best thing you drank on the tour!

  2. I have to say I am a massive lover of beer and all types of beer. I even enjoy a good Guinness sometimes. I somehow managed to stick to beer at each pub despite how full it can make you - and the 1 drink per pub expectation was tough!
